Sport 4 Life UK is proud to partner with colleges to deliver transformative experiences through the NCS Away from Home programme. One of our partnerships has been with Telford College whose students benefit from our tailored approach to personal development and skill-building. 

Our work with Telford College on the NCS Away from Home programme has supported students in developing key skills that complement their studies and future careers. The programme’s interactive workshops and residential experiences have helped students enhance skills such as:

Additionally, we delivered practical sessions on money management, mental health awareness, and public speaking, all of which are critical for personal and professional success.

The NCS programme also directly contributes to the student’s academic goals, helping them pass modules of their Public Services course. By integrating our activities into their curriculum, Sport 4 Life has provided an approach that benefits both students and the college.

One of the programme’s highlights has been the students’ completion of the NCS Away from Home experience. Each participant received a certificate signed by the Prime Minister, a significant accolade that enhances their CVs and future prospects.
