We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Run Brum Crew, which presents a unique opportunity to assist young people to improve their life chances. We are aligned in our value of changing the lives of young people through the power of sport and education.
Mission
Engaging in various social, physical and educational activities has always been important to us, and is engraved in our culture and what we do. We strive for providing our talented young people with more opportunities for career development, mental and physical wellbeing, as well as confidence boost.
Opportunities
The partnership between Run Brum Crew and Sport 4 Life presents opportunities for us to engage our young people in running every Monday evening at 6:30pm with well-established professionals.
We believe in the transformative power of networking, and Sport 4 Life UK Founder and CEO, Tom Clarke-Forrest, says:
“One of the key ways of building successful relationships in the modern business world is networking with other professionals. But this can be daunting and difficult when you’re starting out in life. The partnership with the Run Brum Crew will be immensely beneficial to some of the young people we’re working with, helping to build confidence, make new contacts and potentially find exciting new career openings.”
Run Brum Crew founder and experienced marathon runner, Michael Parker, adds:
“Our partnership with Sport 4 Life UK furthers our mission to play a deeper role in our community, and we’re looking to helping young people, with regular meetings to discuss areas such as careers, education, mental health, and how to further their interest in running. I am very excited to see our partnership develop and start making an impact in our brilliant city.”
Looking forward
We are looking forward to engaging our young people with this fascinating initiative where they will have a chance to dive into the social, fun the mental benefits of running within a thriving and supportive environment.
