At Sport 4 Life UK, we help young people create better futures. But we can’t do it alone. The role will work closely alongside Sport 4 Life UK’s Bid Manager and National Partnerships Manager, and we’re looking for someone who can unlock funding opportunities and help us and our Impact Partners reach more young people who need support. Income Generation
- Craft compelling, high-quality grant applications that tell our story in a way funders can’t ignore.
- Spot new funding opportunities and match them with the right projects.
- Lead and manage the full process of collaborative funding bids
Develop Partner Relationships
- Build strong, trusted relationships with a network of incredible organisations.
- Help partners shape their ideas and get the information needed to write successful bids.
- Connect people, align goals, and make collaboration smooth and productive.
Funder Stewardship
- Build long-term relationships with funders
- Make sure reporting is accurate, timely, and tells the story of the difference we’re making.
- Keep detailed records of what’s coming in, what’s going out, and what’s next.
If you’re detail-oriented, love a good challenge, and have a knack for persuasive writing, we want you on our team.
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience of bid writing, grant writing and/or content writing in a professional context
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling proposals and reports
- Meticulous attention to detail to review and analyse bid documents ahead of submission
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills to ensure completion of bidding activities against competing deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with external funders and stakeholdersÂ
