Sport 4 Life UK and Next Steps Consulting have partnered as part of Next Steps ‘Survive and Thrive’ programme to support organisations to adapt during these challenging times. Latest figures are expected to show the highest rate of unemployment in over 100 years. This highlights the severity of what the future looks like for young people. Sport 4 Life along with over 200 organisations across the UK, has signed an open letter to the Prime Minister, calling on the Government to publicly commit to a new Opportunity Guarantee for young people.

Resilience Building

Head of Business Development, Rob Wells said: “Like many organisations we have faced many challenges and lots of uncertainty since the start of the pandemic. We wanted to ensure at every stage we could continue to be there for our young people, at a time they needed us the most. We also knew that many more challenges lay ahead so it was important to improve our resilience as leaders and importantly ensure we are in the best possible shape to face future challenges head on, as we continue to work towards ending youth unemployment in the West Midlands.
