Job description

  • To be accountable for achieving income targets working with the Business Development Manager.
  • Provide tailored support to all our community fundraisers for their fundraising events.
  • Attend events to fundraise directly and to build relationships with potential fundraisers/supporters. 
  • Strengthening donor/fundraiser engagement over time via a range of strategies and positive engagement.
  • Support the design and launch of annual fundraising campaigns.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar community fundraising role 
  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders including community fundraisers, major donors, companies and trusts 
  • Proven track record of income generation 
  • Experience of developing and supporting fundraising campaigns/ events 
  • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce or similar CRM system 
  • An understanding of fundraising regulations and best practices for charity fundraising
  • An infectious passion, enthusiasm & charisma 
  • Excellent organisation skills 
  • A fully enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Ability and confidence to work alone 
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks, and use computers (e.g. email, word processing)
