We’ve been busy over the last months of 2016 developing an exciting fresh look to celebrate a decade of Sport 4 Life UK and look forward to our future ahead. We are incredibly proud to present to you, our new refreshed logo.
Sport 4 Life UK CEO, Tom Clarke-Forrest had this to say about the refresh:
“I can still vividly remember how it all started. My brother and I were discussing our post-university career plans (or lack thereof) back in 2006. We talked about our passions – sport, football, young people, social action, Birmingham – and whether we could use these to create something and make a difference. The idea of Sport 4 Life was born.
Ten years later and Sport 4 Life is still here – and stronger than ever. Never in our wildest dreams did we think it would come this far. Over the past decade, we’ve spent over £2.5 million on our sports-themed personal development programmes. We’ve worked intensively with more than 5,000 disadvantaged young people, supporting them to find jobs, re-engage with education, stop offending and improve their life-skills. We’ve won prestigious awards, built strong partnerships, received media attention and, most of all, been constantly reminded of the true potential young people have in our society.
But there is still much to do. Over the next decade, we want to engage more young people, expand our work beyond Birmingham and improve our impact. The future for Sport 4 Life is bright – and I’m proud to announce this future will include a vibrant new look. We are undertaking a brand refresh to better reflect who we are, what we do and where we’re going. And I, for one, am incredibly excited about the journey ahead.”
We will be rolling out the new logo and branding across Sport 4 Life over the coming weeks and months, so keep your eyes peeled.
