Sport 4 Life Ambassador Breaks Records

Sport 4 Life UK Ambassador and multi Guinness World Record Holder Paddy Doyle increased his total of career strength speed stamina records to 416. Out of two punishing feats, Doyle set one and beat an existing record. The first to fall was the “one arm reverse plank exercise” this new record consisted of staying in a one arm push up position with a nominated arm locked out whilst carrying a 50 lb back pack.

The previous record holder William Cannon; Scotland’s number 1 endurance record holder set a time of 2 minutes and 8 seconds. Paddy surpassed it setting a new world record time of 3 minutes and 2 seconds.

He then went onto set a new fitness strength record completing the following exercises in 60 seconds:

5 strict one arm push ups carrying 50 lb pack in 20 seconds {using right arm only}, 4 strict back of hands push ups carrying 50 lb pack in 20 seconds and finally 12 strict press ups carrying 50 lb pack in 20 seconds.

” It was a great feeling to beat Scottish record holder William Cannon, he is setting some tough fitness records lately. However I am very much focused on the most records in a calendar year it is taking a lot out of me especially as I am beating existing official records, injuries are starting to slow me down but I have to adapt and dig deep.”
